This novel is also known as Sword Immortal. It features an ensemble cast, with a female protagonist focus. Feel free to comment; I don't delete comments.
P.S. This novel was abandoned because nobody was reading it. I reused some of its settings in a novel on my main account. Sorry.
Blurb:
Li Shuyun's previous life went smoothly. She was born the eldest daughter of a prestigious family, and at seven, she was accepted into the Tianshan Sect. As the sect leader's first formal disciple, she successfully inherited her master's Ruthless Sword and became the sect's first genius to ascend.
But as she ascended, a bolt of heavenly lightning struck her and killed her on the spot.
Furious, Li Shuyun demanded of the Heavenly Dao, "I've never fallen for anyone in my entire life, so why did my Ruthless Dao still fail?"
The Heavenly Dao replied calmly with four words: "The Heavenly Dao has feelings."
Li Shuyun suddenly understood. "Oh, so it's because I've never been in love. The cultivators who practice the Ruthless Dao in those storybooks all start by dating. Their feelings are just so they can stab their partners and prove their Dao before ascending. I must have failed to ascend because I don't have a husband to stab. I need to start matchmaking from the womb!"
The Heavenly Dao: "...No... You're thinking too narrowly. Never mind, I'll give you another chance. Go experience true affection in the mortal world, then come seek the Heavenly Dao again."
And so, Li Shuyun was reborn. To ascend successfully, she planned to have a proper "romance" and randomly select one lucky audience member to prove her Dao.

Heaven and Earth are not humane; they treat the myriad things like straw dogs.
Li Shuyun had always thought that if she wanted to ascend, all she needed to do was master her Ruthless Sword. But reality taught her that ruthlessness was not the Heavenly Dao.
[The female lead is a martial arts fanatic who can't date, has a blunt, tomboyish personality, and is naturally indifferent. The romance in the blurb is just a premise. The female lead has no worldly romantic ties, so there will be no romance plotline!]
Theme: Experience true affection in the world
Dog Tiandao [Angry] Jili Gulu, any Tiandao with ideas are all evil heretics, kill them [Angry]

Oh, it's a little bit flavorful that lesbians are destroying the world
I think the writing is quite interesting. Li Shuyun is also quite interesting. She is very pure.
Yun Pingsheng, with her master's surname, could be her senior brother who betrayed the master in his early years, right?
Couldn't the person looking for the memory be the old minister who lost his memory when the male fox was struck by the law of heaven?
Shameless hahahahaha 🐶
