A pretty, proud, slightly obnoxious top-student shou x a rich school bully who starts out fierce and cocky but later gets really good at flirting

The new transfer student in class, Cheng Youzhen, is pretty, poor, and proud.

He's also a copycat.

He imitates school bully Pei Ye's clothes, mannerisms... even the shape of his hair is exactly the same. People gossip, but he doesn't care in the slightest, and makes no effort to hide it.

He's just asking to get beaten up.

When his friends offer to stand up for him, Pei Ye gets annoyed too and says he'll handle it himself. So he invites Cheng Youzhen to the boxing gym.

"Give me one reason to let you off."

From the four-cornered ring, Pei Ye looks down at Cheng Youzhen coldly, his brows knitted in a fierce scowl. After taking off his boxing gloves, the veins on his arms bulge. He looks like a lion out of its cage, ready to bite.

To his surprise, Cheng Youzhen breaks down in tears, looking beautiful and pitiful as he cries, "I just like you! I wore the same clothes as you and went to the same restaurant, thinking that might make you like me."

Pei Ye, a straight guy with a slight case of homophobia, is dumbstruck. The tips of his ears turn red. He blurts out, "Stay away from me," then runs off in a panic. But in the middle of the night, he wakes from a dream and, for the first time, starts questioning his sexuality.

Cheng Youzhen has had a crush on the school belle for ages.

That is, until he finds out that the person she likes is school bully Pei Ye, a useless rich kid who never studies, sleeps through class, and bullies his classmates. His only redeeming quality is his stunning looks.

Unlike Cheng Youzhen, who's a country bumpkin.

To win the school belle over, Cheng Youzhen swallows his pride and imitates his rival, thinking she'll like him that way. But she still looks down on him.

Cheng Youzhen is heartbroken, and finds his rival more irritating than ever. When he discovers that Pei Ye is homophobic, he not only pretends to be gay to scare him, but also picks fights with him and catches him sleeping in class and not doing his homework...

The strange thing is, Pei Ye gradually puts up with it.

Cheng Youzhen gets more and more hooked on pretending to be gay, growing increasingly brazen. He even forces Pei Ye to study every day, the thing he hates most.

Pei Ye, who's not quite so straight anymore: I've heard only someone who likes you will truly want what's best for you. Cheng Youzhen, I understand how you feel.

After straight guy Pei Ye talks himself into going so thoroughly gay that he's as bent as a mosquito coil, he finally gets the love letter he's been waiting for from Cheng Youzhen. Cheng Youzhen asks him about the pattern and color, and which kind of bow to tie on the little cake.

Pei Ye answers every question.

Then he watches with his own eyes as Cheng Youzhen... gives the school belle the pink love letter and heart-shaped cake he'd been dreaming about.

In the dusty school equipment room,

Pei Ye corners Cheng Youzhen in a cramped corner. "Didn't you say you liked me?"

Cheng Youzhen, who has long since forgotten what he said: "...? What are you talking about? I'm straight."

"And if you want to talk, just talk. Don't come any closer!"

Pei Ye, with his corruption progress at one hundred percent: "...Okay, I'm coming closer."

The shou is brilliant but has appalling people skills, and his thought process is out of the ordinary.

Homophobia means deep in the closet. The gong falls for the shou at first sight, but only realizes it later.
