Shen Yan is the only zookeeper and director of a shabby little zoo. During the fifth cosmic radiation event, all the animals he raised, including a leopard cub, a Samoyed, a hamster, a lop-eared rabbit, a little brown bear, a calico cat, and a black king snake, evolved into humans and gained rare SSR-level superpowers. From then on, the world came under the rule of animal evolvers, who fought the insect race born from the radiation.
After waking from a three-year coma, Shen Yan is amazed to find that the world has completely changed. There is a parrot doctor with wings who can fly, an octopus nurse with countless tentacles, and all the animals that have become human are fighting for custody of him. How is he supposed to choose after being unconscious for years?
The zookeeper's awake. Who's going to pick him up?
Mian Hui: Training's on hold. I'm going to get him!
Dou Nai: Research is on hold. I'm going to get him!
Jia Shi: The invasion is on hold. I'm going to get him!
Rong Juan: The concert is on hold. I'm going to get him!
Dan Huang: My money powers are on hold. I'm going to get him!
Chu Li: The mukbang is on hold. I'm going to get him!
Zhan Meng: The deal is on hold. I'm going to get him!
Shen Yan: Don't any of you come near me! I thought of you as my little ones, but you think of me as your wife.
Unable to handle all the little ones competing for his attention, he fled under overwhelming pressure!
The little ones went crazy looking for their zookeeper. Three months later, a giant photo of Shen Yan himself appeared on a banner at the front line against the insect race.
?
The little ones: Damn insect race, give our zookeeper back!
The insect general cocked its head, its enormous tail fin spread wide. "What did you say? No way, the zookeeper is obviously ours!"
