Lin Jichi transmigrates into the body of a male insect, and finds himself in an interrogation room from the start.
The moment he opens his eyes, he sees blood splattered across the walls. The next second, Lin Jichi faints.
The female insect who was about to interrogate him is speechless. No one mentioned that this heinous criminal, who sold off his own female spouse, faints at the sight of blood!
After finally being acquitted, Lin Jichi returns to the small apartment provided by the Male Insect Protection Association. With a monthly allowance of 800 star coins, he thinks his future will be all about eating, sleeping, and keeping himself entertained.

First, 500 star coins are deducted from his monthly living allowance because he is an unmarried male insect. Then the hair tie at home mysteriously disappears. He assumes he must have put it somewhere and forgotten where, until the missing items gradually escalate to his toothbrush cup, plates, and even more personal belongings. Their disappearance makes his already impoverished life even harder.
After trying every possible method and still failing to find the culprit, Lin Jichi can no longer tolerate watching his home become more and more destitute. He reports it to the Male Insect Protection Association, only to have them send a female insect to guard him around the clock. They call it using deterrence instead of solving the problem.
Lin Jichi looks at the tall female insect smiling politely at him, the very judge who threw him into the interrogation room three months ago, and gets a bad feeling.
