The Side Character in a Comic Book World

In his previous life, Si Huaidu was a powerful business tycoon who could reshape the world of commerce. Now he has been reborn as the male lead of a comic set at an elite academy, who shares his name.

In the comic, he falls madly in love with the poor, pure, and stubborn heroine who refuses to bow to power.

For her, he falls out with his close friends, who have also fallen for her; his father cuts off his financial support for opposing their relationship; and he breaks off his engagement to his childhood sweetheart, whose family is his equal.

Waking up inside the comic world, Si Huaidu sneers. How could a fool with a head full of romance possibly be him?

So, in the storyline that was supposed to develop into a campus romance:

Si Huaidu stays away from the heroine, avoids getting caught up in his close friends' rivalry, doesn't fall out with his father, and doesn't break off his engagement to his childhood sweetheart, who comes from a family of equal standing.

Just as he thinks everything is getting back on track according to plan, Si Huaidu notices something is wrong.

Why has Nan Jia, his fiancée in the comic, who had barely appeared because she was being treated for an illness, suddenly shown up at the academy?

And why are all his close friends, who were supposed to fall for the heroine, now swarming around Nan Jia?

Only after a car accident does Nan Jia learn that she is the ill-fated supporting female character in an elite academy comic.

In the comic, her well-matched fiancé, Si Huaidu, will soon fall for a poor, pure girl at the academy and break off their engagement, leaving Nan Jia to be mocked by everyone there.

His friends will also sneer at her for being weak, dull, and lacking in charm.

Not long after that, her inherited heart condition will suddenly flare up, and she will die.

After waking up, Nan Jia is bound to a System. As long as she wins over specific targets and collects their affection points, she can cure her heart condition.

Those targets include her fiancé and... his group of jealous friends, each of whom is eager to get close to the heroine.

To stay healthy and live on, Nan Jia returns to the elite academy, approaches her targets, and gathers affection points.

Before long, many people at the academy notice that Si Huaidu's sickly fiancée is nothing like the rumors say!

And the men who once mocked her for lacking charm, along with the fiancé who was supposed to be passionately in love with the heroine, are looking at her in increasingly strange ways...

1. The heroine is irresistible to everyone, a sweet-looking but dark-hearted predator. She is an unkind, wicked woman who toys with men, and she will be very alluring. If that's not your thing, read with caution.

2. The male lead has not been decided. All male characters with romantic or ambiguous relationships, both in the comic storyline and the current timeline, are sexually and emotionally inexperienced and devoted only to the heroine. This will be explained later.
