The Special-Grade Cursed Spirit Dares Not Speak Its Anger

No one told you that you’d still have to go to work after you stopped being human. And when they found out you were a curse, the higher-ups at the technical college wouldn’t even let you close your eyes.

You: Even workhorses need a break. I’m more advanced, so I don’t need one.

When they learned you were the first curse in history to have a mind of its own and join them on missions, two active special-grade DKs sent their congratulations.

White-Haired DK: How interesting. Do curses hate going to work, too?

Black-Haired DK: I guess so. Miss Curse looks even more worn out now than she did before she came here.

The Only Kindhearted Schoolgirl: Give it a rest. If you say much more, she’ll disappear.

Go ahead and laugh. Let them laugh. The only one who’ll feel sorry for you is that lovely schoolgirl.

But when you fell into a deep sleep, the DKs who’d been laughing at you started to panic.

White-Haired DK: Stop sleeping. You sleep all the time. If you’re really that tired, don’t listen to those old geezers.

Black-Haired DK: Is there somewhere you want to go? I can take you out to clear your head.

The Only Kindhearted Schoolgirl: Are you... disappearing?

Ah, no wonder you were so tired. You were going to disappear?

Great. That means you won’t have to work for the technical college anymore.

That’s what you thought, never knowing that there was still a twist in store.

PS: The heroine is mainly written in the second person. She’s a hardworking older woman who has turned into a curse. There’s angst in the middle, but the ending is HE. The story focuses on her companions desperately trying to make up for their mistakes, and is overall healing.

Theme: Cherish the people around you. If you’re not careful, it might be the last time you see them.
