The blurb for my upcoming novel in the same genre, "The Main Story Hasn't Moved, but I've Cleared Every Side Quest [Western Fantasy]," is at the end. Please add it to your collections!
[Blurb]
Edith had no talent for magic, but after more than a decade of hard work, she finally climbed her way up to become the chief researcher.
Then she died, on the very night she was promoted.
Edith: ...Well, that was all for nothing.
Her savings were gone. Her mansion was gone. When she opened her eyes again, she had been reborn as an orphan in the slums of a frontier town, her name changed from Edith Gary to Edith Griffin.
The bad news: All the wealth, status, and research results she had spent half her life working for were gone. Her new body was small and weak, and she had a little sister who was just as close to death as she was.
The good news: The orphan she'd transmigrated into had an astonishingly high magical aptitude, the likes of which she'd never seen before.
Edith looked at the ramshackle house and the empty food stores, then calmly took stock of what she had.
In terms of knowledge, she had a complete grasp of magical theory. She'd never been able to put it into practice in her previous life because she had no mana, but she could definitely avoid a lot of the pitfalls.
In terms of combat, her small frame meant she lacked strength, but she still had the swordsmanship skills she'd practiced before. After a good meal and some training, she'd be back in shape.
In terms of talent, she had an immense reserve of mana and could channel it with effortless, flawless ease. And if she combined that with all the theory practically spilling out of her head
Her new life still had plenty of promise!
Edith turned to look at her sister, whose life or death was uncertain, and decided to start by casting a healing spell.
.
On the street, a Grand Magus was tearing his hair out because the young lord of the Marquis's family couldn't find a suitable companion. Then he saw a beam of green light rise from the slums. An immense torrent of mana poured down, as if it were going to tear the sky and earth apart.
Grand Magus: ...What the hell?
That was just a healing spell?!!!
*
Edith became a new student at Boyounis Academy.
Known: Whatever killed her in her previous life must have come from the nobility, and Boyounis Academy was where the greatest number of nobles gathered.
It follows: To uncover the truth, she had to draw attention to herself at the academy and get close to the upper echelons.
To achieve her goal, she made the following efforts:
She deliberately fell asleep during Potions class, got punished by the teacher and called up to the front to demonstrate an exercise, then brewed the clearest potion with her eyes closed;
She deliberately let someone else break her sword, then picked up a random stick and beat her bully right out of the arena;
She announced to the world that she was a commoner, then trampled the prodigies raised with the full support of their great families to claim victory in the magic duels, rubbing every noble's face in the dirt.
Her efforts paid off splendidly. More and more eyes turned toward her, and their gazes grew ever more intense.
...But why did it seem so different from the hostility she'd imagined?
One day before the competition, Edith slipped into the private storeroom she'd built in her previous life and picked out a few ingredients to make a potion.
Less than five minutes after she left, another figure appeared in the storeroom. Looking at the mess on the floor, they fell into a long silence.
"Teacher?"
"Have you come back?"
[Updates follow the ranking schedule before VIP chapters. If there is no ranking, updates are every other day. Daily updates are guaranteed after VIP chapters begin.]
[Content Warnings and Notes (updated regularly)]
[The main focus is the plot, but the male lead is not just a background character.]
[My take on Western Fantasy, with plenty of original worldbuilding. It's an extremely loosely constructed fantasy setting, so it may not feel very Western or very fantastical.]
[The author is terrible at coming up with names. Most place and character names are generated. If anything happens to match or is taboo, please let me know QAQ.]
[The plot mainly takes place at the academy, and the world isn't very large. It will have classic academy competitions and other light-novel-style plotlines. This was written during a bout of chuunibyou, to indulge myself, so I hope you enjoy it!]

Upcoming novel: "The Main Story Hasn't Moved, but I've Cleared Every Side Quest"
As an RPG fan with terrible hand-eye coordination, Yula loves to finish all the side quests, reach the level cap, and gear up before steamrolling through the main story.
She never expected to wake up inside the adventure RPG she'd recently played, "A Guide to Dragon Slaying in Another World." She was standing outside the Adventurers' Guild, where an aggressive gate guard demanded she bring him some wine.
[Quest triggered: "The First Hurdle: Getting Inside"! Follow the map to the tavern, speak with the tavern owner, buy a bottle of Redflame Wine, and give it to the gate guard!]
[Quest requirement: Redflame Wine (0/1)]
[Quest rewards: Basic Wand x1, 100 gold coins, +1 to the gate guard's affection]
Yula: "..."
The bad news: She'd transmigrated into a game she'd played, and the timing was right at the beginning of the newbie quest. The beginning of everything.
The good news: Her completed side quests hadn't been reset.
Yula opened her inventory, glanced at her gold count with its seven zeroes and her overflowing stockpile of materials, then pulled out a legendary wand, fully enchanted and hung with accessories. She pressed it against the chest of the gate guard, who still hadn't had time to react.
A vivid crimson glow gathered at the tip of the wand, radiating enough heat to burn right through someone. The guard's terrified expression was reflected in the flames.
"Noel Walker!"
The girl planted her feet apart, lifted her head, and shouted at the top of her lungs toward the roof of the guild building:
"When are you going to pay me back?!"
In his office, the head of the Adventurers' Guild was listening to a subordinate's report with a stern expression when his body suddenly jolted. He toppled off his chair and scrambled toward the window under his subordinate's horrified gaze.
Yula was back!!!!
Theme: The pursuit of knowledge
Enough words of encouragement, here's the extra chapter
I've finished chasing it. Although there are a lot of small bugs, the plot is smooth and refreshing. Please encourage me.
Ah, will there be any other extras?
Thanks for the free offer~ It's very beautiful, the second half is just right, and it's just right cool.
Finished reading! As soon as you finish watching it, rate it! It's a nice piece of work, but it seems a bit cold. I wish you great success! If there are any good works, I will rate them [kiss]
Finished reading! Throw flowers! Very good meal. Thank you teacher for the hospitalityww
In fact, I wanted to see Xiaoyi play with the potions in the potion shop, because the description was very interesting at first, but the plot part of the potion shop only lasted two days...! (Sad)
Is there any more? Is there any more? [Cat head] [cat head] [cat head] [cat head] [cat head]
I wish Edith Gary's reputation will last forever [Come on]
Check in after reading! Very awesome Edith
I haven't seen such a beautiful Western fantasy novel in a long time! Like(*?ω`*)
