Hello, my name is Hiraba Takayuki, and I'm a bestselling novelist.
Here's my schedule for the week.
Monday: Someone broke into my home and tried to steal the manuscript for the novel I'd just finished. The honest red-haired employee and the cold-sensitive black-haired employee at my bar beat the intruder out the door.
I ended up at the police station.
Tuesday: A bandaged man suddenly latched onto me, insisting on coming back to the bar with me. Then he grabbed hold of Oda, the red-haired employee, and wouldn't let go.
I told him this isn't a host club.
Wednesday: A man named Verlaine showed up and stared blankly at the cold-sensitive employee, Rimbaud, for a long time.
Then he said he wrote poetry, so he, Oda, and I formed a book club.
Thursday: The bar was hit by a supernatural theft. Our book club notes went missing.
Another one of Oda's regulars... Seriously, this isn't a host club. Anyway, our bespectacled government-worker regular was horrified and said they were "books," then hurried away. Oda and I both thought he'd been working overtime too much, if he was calling blank notebooks books.
Friday: A customer wearing an eyepatch said he'd found our book club notes and brought them back, demanding dessert as a thank-you. Since we're a bar, we gave him liquor-filled chocolates. He said he'd be back.
Saturday: A noisy bunch of people showed up at the bar. They were probably my future employees, but they weren't happy with the bar and wanted to open a billiards hall instead.
I agreed to add a pool table to the bar.
Sunday: Verlaine brought his younger brother over. The orange-haired boy had red eyes and was pretty cute. When I said so, everyone told me he was 22. He seemed to try very hard to stop himself from punching me.
That was my ordinary, peaceful week, and days like these will keep going.
* A crossover of Bungou Stray Dogs, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Detective Conan. The bar is located in a rift between dimensions. The characters in this blurb are just the beginning; others will appear gradually.
* A natural, easygoing protagonist, with a cozy, humorous slice-of-life feel.
Theme: Haven't thought of one yet.
