Everyone knows Zhou Shu is a madman whose love is unrequited, and he'll force Wen Zhi to stay by his side if that's what it takes.
Zhou Shu resolves that if he can't win Wen Zhi's heart, he'll at least keep her with him. He won't let her keep thinking about that dead beloved.
Zhou Shu: "From now on, you're not allowed to leave this villa. You're my fiancée. Stop thinking about dying for him."
Wen Zhi looks at the seaside villa before her, pauses for half a second, then says, "All right, but the seaside is too damp for me. I don't mind staying for the weekend, but from Monday to Friday I want to move somewhere else."
"I want a study of my own. Buy me these books: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Introduction to Probability... I prefer taking notes while reading physical books."
"I have nervous exhaustion. I can't study if someone bothers me, so remember to keep my place quiet."
"Oh, how's your spoken English? Can you practice with me? I can't seem to improve my speaking score."
"Sigh, if he were here, he could definitely practice English with me. You're nothing like him."
Wen Zhi is a pretty, foolish, shallow, love-struck canary. Zhou Shu's friends and brothers all advise him, "If a woman doesn't have you in her heart, you should break up with her."
Later, when Wen Zhi has picked up enough skills from Zhou Shu and plans to break up amicably, these same people are the ones who jump in and compete to tell her:
"Zhizhi, what about me? How am I like your beloved?"
#The heroine makes up for a lack of talent with hard work. Dating is how she learns new skills.
