A Guide to Flirting

The Guide to Flirting goes like this:

[1. Gently scratch your target's palm] -- Jiang Cheng put a check mark beside it.

[2. Rub your target's hand] -- He checked that one too.

[3. Gently brush your target's foot] -- Satisfied, he checked it off as well.

Jiang Cheng shut the notebook, his face scarlet and his heart racing.

To outsiders, the traditional and proper Pei Da is a devil-may-care young CEO who takes no interest in whether his conquests are men or women. Handsome men and beautiful women are always throwing themselves at him.

No one knows that beneath those beautiful exteriors lurk parasites, waiting in the dark for a chance to devour him.

Beneath his dashing good looks, cold, jointed limbs writhe. Just as the parasites are about to strike, he hits back and devours them from the bodies they've infested.

He thought Jiang Cheng was another parasite. He waited quietly for Jiang Cheng to slip up, never expecting him to keep seducing him with practiced skill without ever making a move.

Later, he discovered by chance that Jiang Cheng came from the Special Operations Division, an organization dedicated to eliminating parasites. He had come to observe Pei Da and find out whether he was one of them.

The seduction? Fake.

The skill? An act.

Jiang Cheng was just a college student, freshly graduated and recruited by the Division. With a copy of the Division's Guide to Flirting in hand, this inexperienced rookie had Pei Da completely smitten, and stripped him of every last shred of wariness.
