Synopsis

Guan Xia was born into a new life with her memories intact, and always thought she’d gotten the script for a second chance at life, working hard to make something of herself.

So as soon as she could talk, she followed the lessons and interests of her previous life, diligently learning to draw and taking the entrance exam for an art academy. She finally became a moderately well-known comic artist.

By the age of twenty-five, she was living the retirement life she’d always dreamed of.

As Guan Xia spent her days drawing comics, traveling, and happily losing herself in her new life,

a murder occurred in her apartment building one day. The police came by to ask the usual questions, and a screen suddenly appeared in Guan Xia’s mind. It said:

Informant System successfully bound.

The police have questioned you. You suddenly remember that at 5:53 p.m. on April 19, you saw a nervous-looking repairman in the stairwell when you came home. There were a few stains on his cuff. You keenly noticed they looked like blood, and decided to tell the police.

My next story, I Become a Helpful Citizen in a Detective Novel with the Fate Intervention System, is now available.

Tang Qiu struggled to survive for thirteen years in an apocalyptic world and finally met her end. But when she closed her eyes and opened them again, she found she had transmigrated to a parallel world.

Her counterpart in this world was a poor soul who had diligently studied for her master’s and doctorate. Just six months after landing a job at the law firm she’d dreamed of joining, someone smashed her head in one night, killing her.

Tang Qiu had always believed in paying people back for every wrong they did. She sharpened her knives, determined to chop her counterpart’s enemy into pieces.

But before she could find the culprit, a System came looking for her.

Fate Intervention System activated successfully.
