Bruce received a letter.
The sender very politely explained that she was his long-lost biological daughter, and thoughtfully included a strand of her hair for testing.
She also very bluntly informed him that she would be coming to Gotham the next day to reunite with him, and that Wayne Manor should have a room ready for her.
After some small talk that seemed oddly familiar and completely pointless, his daughter, whom he'd never met, wrote at the end:
By the way, I'm a magical girl. Dad, you'd better tell that Bat family first.
Bruce fell into deep thought, in every sense of the phrase.
On her tenth birthday, Hitomi Sakurai made a birthday wish: she wanted to become a magical girl.
The good news: her wish came true.
The bad news: it came true a little too well.
Her magic was so overwhelmingly powerful that she lost control, and the cards she'd just created scattered everywhere. Left with only one card, Hitomi Sakurai thought: Hmm... I guess this counts as a classic remake.
After eight years of diligent work for an organization in a certain port city, she had finally collected most of the cards and learned how to locate the rest.
Then she stared at the countless red dots on the map of Gotham and fell into deep thought.
1. Primarily Batfamily, a conventional Bat-kid story, with a warm, everyday feel. Daily life takes up most of the story, while the main plot barely appears.
2. In addition to British and American franchises, this also crosses over with Bungo Stray Dogs, though it isn't a large part. The female lead is a classic powerful-but-tragic type, at the top of the power scale. Don't read if that's not your thing.
3. There is a pairing, with Red Robin.
4. There is OOC characterization, a DC-setting hodgepodge, and a heavily altered timeline. Canon purists, please stay away.
Theme: Break free of constraints and live an independent life
East Asian parents seem to be born with a special talent for balance, especially most Chinese parents, who have moderation engraved into their DNA. The love given is neither too much nor too little, not enough for you to feel happy and worthy, nor enough for you to hate them and part ways with them without any hesitation. It's really too embarrassing. Sometimes you hate why they humiliate you so much, and sometimes you feel that they love you but in the wrong way.
Jason: What does this guy mean? I wasn't hurt. Xiaotong: Yeah, I have a good impression.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Why are you stuck here? Leave a joke to continue laughing in the next chapter, right? Hahahahahaha
Wow, the little red vest fell off
So... Tim's vest fell off?
Superman's frightened face: B, I really didn't want to steal your daughter, that's my peer, not me [scared] batman: took out the kryptonite finger tiger from his belt...
You're not invited [Laughter and cry]
Magical girls still need love and peace!
Xiaotong, just pet him
