In an era of highly advanced interstellar civilization, the Federal Assembly, made up of the United Interstellar Secretary-General, five senior councilors, and hundreds of ordinary councilors, became the main governing body of the United Interstellar. As its sole legitimate government, it governed the major star systems, including the solar system, and maintained peace for a hundred years.
The five great families nominated and appointed the senior councilors, each of whom held veto power. The Secretary-General, meanwhile, represented the Assembly's ultimate decision-making authority. But as the senior councilors' disagreements over political issues grew more pronounced, various interest groups began to stir. The conflicts between the five great families represented by the senior councilors became especially fierce, making it difficult to maintain the appearance of peace. Under pressure from senior councilors such as the United States, the Secretary-General's position was in grave danger.
With relations between all sides growing incredibly tense, a 22-year-old Alpha from an ancient Eastern family took the initiative to visit the Secretary-General.
"Hello, I'm the youngest legitimate son of the Huaxia family. It's a pleasure to meet you. Here's my card." The young Alpha smiled gently, radiating the refined elegance of an ancient Eastern family.
