Jiangcao is a name Jiangcao chose for herself.
The "jiang" comes from the first thing she ate after opening her eyes: berries she had picked herself.
They were crisp, delicious, sweet, and juicy.
Jiangcao made a wish right then, asking the heavens to make sure she could eat berries every day from then on.
The "cao" comes from the heartfelt curse she let out when she opened her eyes and found nothing but desolation around her, while she herself was completely naked.
It was her way of telling the heavens to go fuck themselves.
That was Jiangcao's first day in Alpha.
