Takahashi Seiki, a Level Three crime scene investigator with the Las Vegas Police Department, was originally planning to transfer to Chicago as a supervisor. But one crime scene investigation changed his mind.
"You're going back to Japan to be a CSI?"
"Yes. It's a fresh start."
Takahashi Seiki was lying. He wasn't going back for a "fresh start." More than anyone, he knew what the message left behind by the killer at the crime scene meant.
"If fate wants me to fight it, then I have no choice but to defeat it."
A CSI team in Japan, a brand-new cast, and original cases. Unlike Detective Conan, with its murders committed on the spot and detectives solving them, this story will focus more on murders that happen off-screen, and the detective's role will be greatly reduced.
The story centers on the crime scene investigation unit.
Japan's CSI was only recently established. Before that, there was only the forensic investigation department. The CSI established a crime lab and reorganized the forensic department. After the plan was approved at a police department reform meeting, the protagonist, who had studied overseas and qualified as a Level Three crime scene investigator (a high rank), was invited to take charge of Japan's newly established CSI team. The protagonist will take part in some of the assessments.
Warnings:
There is one-sided affection for the protagonist, but there is no romance in the main story. The extras may include a pairing.
The timelines for Detective Conan and The Prince of Tennis include author-created changes.
This story focuses on the adults. Conan won't appear until much later; Shinichi as a child will appear earlier.
The cases are original. The characters are highly intelligent, but the upper limit of their intelligence depends on the author's intelligence.
Writing advice is welcome.
Theme: Fate cannot be reversed, but it can be overcome
