[P5/P5X] I Volunteered to Be the Substitute

[Currently writing the story next door. I'll continue this one after the game's main story progresses.]

Takenori Izumi has a poor memory. Luckily, her social circle is pitifully small, consisting almost entirely of the boy next door, so she's unlikely to suffer the embarrassment of mistaking someone for somebody else.

But lately, the boy next door seems to have changed a little.

"Ren, why'd you dye your hair black? Did you get a perm, too?" Takenori Izumi ran a hand over the boy's head. Under her fingers, his hair felt like it had gone from a red velvet cupcake to a Black Forest cupcake.

Amamiya Ren: ...

Under the astonished, bewildered stares of his companions, he remained perfectly composed. "Don't you like it?"

"I love it." Takenori Izumi kissed his chin, smiling like honey-coated milk candy. Then she said it again: "I love it."

Afterward, when his companions asked him about it, the simple country boy in his second year of high school pushed up his glasses and smiled innocently. "Oh, I volunteered to be the stand-in."

After all, a phantom thief's greatest talent is doing whatever it takes to steal a treasure. Being a mere stand-in is nothing worth mentioning.

The other phantom thief: ... Wait, what?

P5 x P5X, Amamiya Ren x the heroine x Ueshiro Nagisa

Childhood friend (?) vs. sudden arrival (?)

Though Ren-kun gets more of the spotlight.

Warnings:

1. Over-the-top melodrama, Mary Sue elements, and possibly a dark transformation. The feelings will be more than a little twisted!

2. Since P5X's main story hasn't really gotten going yet, Wonder will have a lot of original settings.

3. The heroine has a hearing impairment and a physical disability. She's in a vulnerable position and doesn't have much ability. She's not a strong, independent heroine, but she's no helpless housewife either.

4. It may not follow the main plot much. I just want to write romance.
