The Vicious Sixties Mother-in-Law Is a Cultivation Empress

Also known as: Another Day of Not Wanting to Acknowledge My Children

Ya Xiang, Dowager Empress of three successive dynasties in a cultivation empire, held absolute power at court and ascended to immortality. Bored with cultivation, she descended to the mortal world to travel, only to transmigrate to China in the 1960s.

Here, there isn't enough food or warm clothing, and she's stuck with a whole bunch of infuriating children.

A selfish son, a daughter-in-law who causes trouble nonstop, and a daughter who only wants to find a boyfriend...

And the original owner actually starved to death?!

All for a pack of ungrateful descendants like these!

She makes a quick calculation:

Oh! Even after their mother died, these children were still selfish. They wouldn't even cover her with a straw mat, and only cared about dividing up the family property and getting married off...

Dowager Empress Ya Xiang sweeps her hand: I'll annihilate their souls!

Uh...

She forgot. She's a mere mortal now!

But!

A mother-in-law's (Dowager Empress's) dignity must be upheld: I'll whip you all into shape!

A selfish son?

Then you can surely fend for yourself!

Move out and start your own household!

Her sons are left reeling in the cold wind: ...Wait, Mom, at least give us a house!

A troublemaking daughter-in-law?

I'm not serving you anymore!

The daughter-in-law who's always funneling things to her own family: ...

A daughter who only wants to date?

Once you've seen enough, nothing seems special anymore.

The moment she sees her handsome young educated youth crush pick his toes, her daughter goes: Eww~

Then she turns and sees another handsome blind date, and goes: Wow!

Living alone, she carries on in carefree style, maintaining the dignity and grace of a Dowager Empress, er, mother-in-law.

Who could have guessed that a refined man in military uniform would show up at her door, smiling:
