Arriving in a post-apocalyptic world with a System sounds like getting a huge golden finger.
But there's no such thing as a free lunch. The side effect of the golden finger is that every time Xue Yu uses a System item, the people around him like him a little less.
Since his good intentions are always mistaken for malice, and everything he says is met with suspicion, the stronger Xue Yu gets, the quieter he becomes.
But he's already more than satisfied just to be alive.
After the disaster, reconstruction begins. The System's missions are complete, and its energy is depleted. At last, the inexplicable hatred reveals its true nature, and all those repressed, intense feelings come pouring out.
