Question: Which football club of the century's most regrettable fallen giants is it?
Answer: I only have one answer to this question, and that's AC Milan. Look at Serie A at the start of the century. The title of "the little World Cup" wasn't just for show. And look at AC Milan's lineup back then. Any one of them could go straight into movies today. Now look at them: other than the empty title of a fallen giant, how are they any different from a third-rate club? At this rate, they might not even be able to play in Serie A anymore and will have to drop to Serie B. How could that not be a pity?

Congratulations! Your answer has received the most likes for this question. You have been automatically bound to the AC Milan Revival System.
You will soon be transported to a parallel world. Three, two, one...
We wish you all the best.
It was as fantastical as that. After Gu Xi answered the question, he really did go to another world. As a Milan fan, of course he wanted Milan to do better, but he couldn't help wondering just how badly Milan in this parallel world was doing if they needed to fish someone out of another world.
Warning (highlighted, please read)
This is the author's first time writing something this long. Before this, I've only written short stories, so if you don't like it, please don't curse me out. Just leave. I'm not confident to begin with (sobbing).
There isn't much long-form fic about Ma Damao, so I'm writing one myself. The main character is part of the CP, and is an original character.
This story centers on AC Milan and the big Serie A family, so naturally it favors Italy.
I'm an amateur fan with a player-fan mindset. I've said it in advance, so please don't curse me out (I'm genuinely scared).

To reply to everyone, this article of mine is probably due to fate. When I started the article, it was because I suddenly had this idea, and I will gradually improve the settings later. The initial setting is a parallel world. If Mao had not experienced the two captains Baresi and Maldini leading the team in the last century, but had been replaced by someone else, Mao would have shown decline in the early 21st century. Then after being bought by the Red Birds, due to poor team construction, he fell directly into Serie A in 2023 (a rough year, maybe 22 or 24). The protagonist took over Milan at this time. Regarding the setting of the card drawing system: the system will produce three to four types of cards. The first is character cards, which can draw stars, but character cards are also different. For example, some are signed and some will come to Milan on loan (those who have played in Milan will have buffs with increased probability); the second is road cards, such as cards that reduce injuries or speed up recovery, something like this. There should be no direct exemption, but fair competition. The third type is environmental cards. I really hope that Milan will have its own stadium. This kind of card is to change the general environment and allow Milan to pass the government's review and build the stadium. The rest are some status cards. I will add them when I write in detail later. That's all for now. It's very painful for me to write directly without writing an outline. . .
