Doomsday Survival Simulator

On January 1, 2222, unprecedented torrential rain fell all over the world. It rained for three straight days. On the fourth day, the apocalypse arrived.

Everyone who had been soaked in the rain mutated.

On the seventh day of the apocalypse, everyone in the world had their bodies converted into data.

A voice appeared in the sky and announced to all of humanity:

The large-scale full-dive game Zombie Nation is now officially in open beta.

At the same time, Nan Xu, an ordinary office worker in Ningcheng, acquired the "Apocalypse Survival Simulator" System.

As long as life goes on, so must the struggle.

A challenge to write about an ordinary female protagonist who gains a golden finger in the apocalypse and gradually grows stronger. She stockpiles food and survives during her early growth, then moves on to the satisfying base-building phase once she's stronger. More or less.

There are forums and livestreams, though the protagonist doesn't stream... In short, if you ask, there's a little bit of everything.

[The outline ran into problems, and I got so badly stuck that I've decided to rewrite it. I'm putting the story on hiatus for now and will resume if I get inspiration later. Read at your own risk.]
