Dipping in Fire

"A coward may even fear happiness. Even cotton can hurt them."

--No Longer Human

We grew up in the flames. Faced with love, we burned to ashes.

Unconventional, eccentric beauty of a top x clueless, good-for-nothing bottom

Please note: This story has no scummy top or masochistic bottom. This isn't a crematorium romance, it's a mass grave. The top suffers through plenty of melodrama, with a gritty, realistic tone. Slow burn. The main plot follows youth and coming of age, with a whole lot of messy baggage. The boys are all chuunibyou, and the characters are all good-for-nothings, flawed and low-quality. One-on-one romance throughout.

--May he embrace the ardor of youth and reclaim what he lost.
