Lu Xian brought home a saltwater fish he found in the desert.
The fish could talk, loved potato chips, liked going to the aquarium near their home to look at other fish, and would even sneak off to release the fish in the ornamental pond at his supermarket.
He thought it was all a dream, until later, when he met another very strange person.
"Lu Xian, don't you remember me?" the person kept asking as he followed behind him. "You really don't remember me?"
Like a little tail.
The little fish was indignant: I ate seaweed for eight months and nearly swam my tail off to come back here, and he just forgets me like that??!!
[They say there's a rainbow at the end of the sea because that's where merfolk blow bubbles.]
