Years ago, while working overseas with his superior, Sakuma Yatsu injured his throat. He’d spent the past few years unable to speak properly.

When he heard that his superior had taken over from the previous leader and become the new boss, he hurried back to Yokohama from the small town where he’d settled after resigning. He resumed his old identity to help the superior who had always looked after him.

“Lord Sakuma, the mission has, ”

“Lord Sakuma...?”

Hearing a voice that was far too familiar, he spun around.

“Ah, so Mr. Yatsu is a big shot in Yokohama.” A young friend he’d met in the past smiled at him.

...Why?

The young executive, still dressed in a black suit, asked himself.

Why was Suo here?

“It wasn’t easy to get another chance to see you, Mr. Yatsu.”

A black-hole-level disclaimer:

1. The early chapters mainly focus on everyday life, with an extremely slow burn. The main settings are Wind Breaker and the Beast timeline, with major changes and original characters. The Flag Association exists in this version, and other shonen manga are briefly mentioned.

2. Pairing: Suo × Sakuma Yatsu. Younger man/older man, with a four-year age gap. The characters will be adults.

3. The middle and later parts focus on Sakuma Yatsu’s experiences in Yokohama.

4. This story is unrelated to the completed crossover spin-off next door. They’ll only borrow each other’s jokes.
