One day, I received a message from my ex-boyfriend, who had vanished five years ago.

He'd finished studying abroad and returned to the country.

My ex-boyfriend was handsome, rich, gentle, and considerate.

Back then, I thought we'd be together forever, until he suddenly disappeared.

I thought I still loved him, so I agreed to get back together.

But at the next class reunion, I learned some secrets

about my ex-boyfriend.

The people who knew him well gave me vague, hesitant warnings: he seemed very different from the person I imagined him to be.
