After Pretending to Be the Pregnant Wife of the Villainous Sword Venerable

After I transmigrated into a book, I lost my memory and became pregnant. The baby was almost due.

I struggled to survive by chewing on grass at the bottom of an abyss. Luckily, I found a similarly amnesiac Sword Sovereign by the riverbank: breathtakingly beautiful, with a mysterious past and such overwhelming power that no one could argue with him.

I woke him up and insisted, “You’re my husband. This is your child, and you have to take responsibility.”

The Sword Sovereign was an honest man. He believed me.

Not long after he took me back to his sect, “our” child was born.

A long tail, with a pair of horns growing from its head.

The Sword Sovereign, who had been alone since he was a swaddled infant, held the newborn dragon cub and watched it for a whole day and night without saying a word.

He was probably pondering whether he might not be human after all, and whether the blood of a demon beast lay hidden deep in his veins.

It wasn’t until later, when I recovered some of my memories from before I transmigrated into the book, that I learned the “honest man” Sword Sovereign I’d imagined was actually the great villain of the future, destined to shatter a thousand foes with one sword and reach the pinnacle of the immortal path beyond the nine heavens.

At the same time, I heard that the Immortal Venerable above the nine heavens was a true dragon. He had once had a beloved in the lower realm, and they had a child together.

But now, neither his beloved nor his child was by his side.

Rumor had it that the woman had betrayed him and run off with another man.

The great villain heard the news with me. His gaze suddenly turned toward me, cold enough to carve into bone, as if he wanted to swallow me whole.

I broke into a slight cold sweat and immediately put on a bewildered, helpless, and aggrieved expression. “I definitely have nothing to do with him. My husband and I were separated...”

He drew me into his arms. His smile never reached his eyes, but his voice was as sweet as honey. “Then I’ll go kill him for you, my wife. Would that please you?”

“...Could you please not ask me? I don’t remember anything QAQ.”
