From childhood, Joanna Kale was told that she had a duty to save the world. Her goal was to defeat Darkseid, the ruler of Apokolips.
She trained hard, and after becoming a member of the Justice League, she achieved her goal.
"Even if you really do defeat me, what will you do then?" Darkseid asked as he died.
"Protect world peace and live happily with my loved one." Joanna paid no attention to his words.
That is, until she returned to the starting point five years later.
Aside from her identity, nothing seemed to have changed. Though she was puzzled about why she'd returned to the past, Joanna still set out on the path of a savior, just as before.
Then she returned to the starting point again.
Once, twice...
Joanna couldn't help wondering if there was something wrong with the way she was saving the world. But no matter how she tried to save it, whether by becoming an ordinary person or even a villain bent on destroying the world...
She still couldn't escape the loop.
After going through fifty-three cycles, Joanna finally gave up trying to figure it out and decided to let everything go.
But to her surprise, old acquaintances began showing up one after another, apparently recovering memories from previous loops. What's more, none of them remembered the same timeline!?
Even her coworkers from her current life as an ordinary person turned out to be former almost-lovers!?
The people showing up at her door: Just how many great teammates do you have!?
Joanna: I've given up. Do not disturb.
Note:
1. More serious in tone, paired with Nightwing, the Big Blue Bird of Bludhaven.
2. The heroine is a former savior who just wants to slack off and has overwhelmingly high combat skills.
3. Some OOC is unavoidable, but I'll do my best.
Theme: Someone will always choose you without hesitation
