Happy Little Dog, Not a Care in the World

Wen Ning has a fiance: mature, steady, successful, handsome, five years older than her, and has doted on her since they were children.

But she is always looking for someone new. Today, a sunny college boy captivates her; tomorrow, she's into a sweet, puppy-like younger guy; the day after, she's got her eye on a muscular hunk who's six-foot-two.

Faced with a Wen Ning like this, her fiance still smiles with gentle indulgence. The phrase he says most often is, "My Ningning is still young and doesn't know any better. It's normal for her to want to have fun."

And Wen Ning really is just having fun. She's a total coward: she flirts and runs, never taking responsibility, and leaves her fiance to clean up every mess.

Until one day, she thinks she's found true love and insists on breaking off the engagement, finally angering her gentle, kind fiance.

On the rainy night she runs away with her true love, the guard dogs behind her grow restless. As tires screech, Wen Ning sees a side of her fiance she's never known before.

The man's polished black shoes step into a muddy puddle. He calmly opens an umbrella over Wen Ning's head. "Be good, Ningning. Had enough fun? Let's go home."

Trembling with fear, Wen Ning immediately and shamelessly betrays her true love, throwing herself into her fiance's warm, dry embrace as she sobs.

Crying, she swings a hand back and slaps him hard across the face, declaring, "You bastard! You scared me!"

This is a story featuring a simp, competing male suitors, and a love rivalry.
