My next novel, The Broken Luan, is coming soon. The synopsis is at the very bottom. Please add it to your collection!
Synopsis:
A coup in Shengjing sends Xue Lanyi plummeting from the heights of privilege into a life of humiliation, leaving her separated by a world of status from her childhood sweetheart, Wei Zhang, the heir to the Duke of Zhenguo.
She is forced to hide in a secluded courtyard as his concubine.
The man who once pursued her so passionately speaks less and less, and treats her more and more coldly.
Every time she summons the courage to speak to him first,
he doesn't even lift his eyes from the official documents he is reading. He only furrows his brow and says, "Silence."
Xue Lanyi's heart aches, but she can't bear to let go of the affection they shared in their youth.
Again and again, when he stands alone beneath the moon, she presses herself against his back and whispers, "I love you."
On a damp spring night, with his breath coming in short, uneven gasps, he bends toward her for the first time.
The eldest Wei brother's sword suddenly bursts from the darkness, lunging at Wei Zhang.
Wei Zhang watches the keen blade with a smile, neither dodging nor moving, simply standing by.
But Xue Lanyi is desperate to protect him. In her panic, she drives her gold hairpin into the eldest Wei brother's chest.
The man's searing blood runs along the hairpin and into Xue Lanyi's palm. Suddenly, she remembers who she truly loves.
[From Wei Zhang's perspective]
Wei Zhang has few family ties and has been abandoned by his clan. He has long known that in this world, no love can compare to power.
When his amnesiac future sister-in-law once threw herself into his arms, tears in her eyes as she said, "I love you," he felt only disgust at her hypocrisy.
He had always seen her as nothing more than a blade to cut away the brambles on his path to power.
Until that night, when the girl who was supposed to protect him without hesitation instead turned away and clung to the man lying in a pool of blood.
Wei Zhang realized that the only person in this world who had ever said she loved him would never turn back.
[From Wei Xuan's perspective, the eldest brother]
The young general, the darling of Shengjing, loses the love of his life in a single night and grows gray before his time.
For five years, leaning on a bamboo cane, he searches the rivers and mountains for his beloved.
Then one day, he turns around and discovers that the person he has longed for has been right beside him all along, living in harmony with his younger brother.
A battle for the heroine + coercive love + the hero's long, bitter pursuit to win her back
Content warnings:
1. The male lead begins as a ruthless, career-obsessed bastard, becomes a needy, obsessive mad dog in the middle, and ends as a dog who can't even beg for scraps.
2. The male lead is pure in body and heart. The story follows a melodramatic route where hatred lasts longer than love. The second male lead follows a healing childhood-sweetheart route.
3. Important: The male lead is a cold-blooded careerist with maximum villain energy. Once he loses his composure, he takes what he wants by force.

Synopsis of The Broken Luan:
A warlord in the north has risen with astonishing force, and no one survives the sweep of his seven-foot sword.
Three years have passed, and the court has been driven back at every turn, with the empire on the brink of collapse.
To stabilize the situation, the court dispatches a princess to marry the warlord, accompanied by ten thousand taels of gold.
But though envoys arrive in droves, the warlord's manor keeps its gates firmly shut.
From within, only a single sentence is sent out: "Have County Princess Shen Jianyue accompany the princess as her dowry."
*
Shen Jianyue never imagined that a woman from a low-ranking official's family could twice stir up a storm in the treacherous imperial court.
The first time, she held up evidence of treason and sent the dashing young Marquis Xie Ji of Shengjing to the executioner's block.
As the young man was carted past the Shen residence, an imperial decree naming Shen Jianyue a county princess was delivered to her at the same time.
The second time, a warlord she'd never met casually declared that this highborn county princess would become a dowry maid.
The warlord is ruthless, the princess is merciless, and Shen Jianyue knows she can't outmaneuver them. She can only flee on her wedding night.
But in the cramped, dark maid's quarters, the sound of celadon clinking suddenly rings out.
"Where are you going?"
The warlord, who should be attending the wedding ceremony, sits behind her, his black robe embroidered with a python blending into the night.
Only his long fingers, winding with whip scars, are exposed to the moonlight as he turns his teacup and stirs the tea, again and again.
On his fingertips are still the two tooth marks left by the young girl who used to playfully bite him...
*
For the year the princess has lived at his manor, the warlord has always claimed to be busy with military affairs and refused to spend the night in her room.
One night, the princess comes to see him with a bowl of warming soup and accidentally glimpses, through a crack in the window, military manuals scattered across the floor.
The broad-shouldered warlord has his sickly, absent-minded dowry maid trapped in front of a mirror.
In the mirror, the young woman has her hair in disarray and is biting the man's index finger, holding back her sobs. "Xie Ji, it's been a year. Isn't that enough?"
"Shen Jianyue, this is only the beginning..."
Back then, she abandoned him and ruined him, turning him into a monster everyone despised.
So he will break her, shatter her, drag her into this lightless hell, and rot in the mud with her, locked together until death.

Theme: Learning to love others
I'm convinced, the wife-chasing crematorium is the heroine's crematorium, right? 99% Abuse women, 1% abuse men
I think I am going to switch sides and become the Wei Zhang faction. He is indeed quite charming in many ways. What touched me the most in this chapter is that he wanted to help the former prince to be in power not for anyone, but for himself. I think he may actually have some friendship with the former princeling, and he also considered some of the heroine's ideas. But in fact, even if he did not do it for anyone, just because he had a puppet to control better, the fact that he helped the former prince to power made his role more distinct, and it was even more clear that he did it for others. I think essentially I am still Mu Qiang...
Li Zhaoyang is Wei Xuan's [Spreading Flowers] There were too many tears in the front, but there is finally a happy ending. Li Zhaoyang loves Wei Xuan for all eternity ❤️❤️
It feels like after Chapter 98 the heroine was taken away from her [covering face, laughing and crying] Suddenly she was willing to give birth to a child for the hero, she suddenly fell in love with him, she suddenly forgot that she was treated as a concubine and was given to others as an object, and she suddenly forgot that she was treated as a concubine and an object given to others. The shame of tattoos, I suddenly forgot that my best friend in my childhood was killed by the male protagonist. In order to resist the male protagonist, so many people died and so many tears were shed. I fell in love with him inexplicably. The so-called male protagonist in the later stage was not a dog at all. Have you ever written something that [covers your face and laughs and cries] Pure female abuse + writes to the end where the heroine compromises and reaches the ending in just a few chapters, don't you feel that you have written a heroine with a sense of resistance OOC [covers your face and laughs and cries] To be honest, if this article had a be ending I would like to call it a masterpiece, because the heroine's subjectivity and spirit of resistance were brilliantly written in the early stages, but falling in love with the hero in the last few chapters was really baffling. I can accept that the heroine does not love the hero, but the hero and the heroine will be entangled for a lifetime. . . . But I can't accept that the heroine fell in love with the hero and was even willing to give him a child and then ran away for six years due to a misunderstanding. Then the hero died and the heroine was sad [covering her face and laughing and crying]. Isn't this too frustrating? Isn't it because of my incompetence that I was caught when I escaped before co-writing? [Pause face, laugh and cry] I didn't want to hide it well [Pause face, laugh, cry] The last time I felt this way was when I watched a certain TV series. The male and female protagonists agreed to use each other, but the heroine ended up falling in love with her brother-in-law, which made the male protagonist die. The heroine was sad [cover face, laugh and cry] Why did you write it like this?
"Xue Lanyi can't find a reason to hate him to death. [Covering face, laughing and crying] Hostess, you really don't remember to eat and not fight. [Covering face, laughing and crying] The male protagonist has made you a concubine for dozens of chapters, treating you as an object and giving it away to others. The male protagonist gave you a tattoo that reached your bone marrow. I felt phantom pain when I saw it, so I skipped several chapters to see the slap in the face. [Covering face, laughing and crying] Is this the love between you two?
It's nothing. Ending
This forgives the male lead, and the second male lead feels like a joke 🐶
This article has enough manuscripts, 2-4 chapters at 0:00 every day, and thousands of updates. Pre-collection of "Blind Girl" and "Court Wife", the mad dog who lacks love takes things by force, please collect it [make me healthy] Completed the same theme "Being coveted by the gloomy crazy people day and night", Kangkang me [let me Kangkang]
Wei Zhang, this is Xue Lanyi who belongs to you alone, a Xue Lanyi who only has you in her heart and eyes [Spread Flowers]
This brother is so disgusting, and so is the male protagonist...
