Qi Siyu braced an arm against the wall beside her. Veins and black tattoos stood out along his pale, slender wrist, both sexy and alluring.
He bent toward her, his gaze close, and tugged at the corner of his lips. He was a scoundrel to the bone.
"He's not good enough for you."
"Stop playing with him."
"Play with me."

Later, Chu Yue really did play with him. When their relationship was at its most intense, she left without a word and was gone for five years.
They met again at a theater during her world tour. Now the powerful head of the flourishing Qi Group, he was surrounded by people and treated as an honored guest.
Their eyes met for a moment, then they acted like strangers.
Only after the dance performance ended, to thunderous applause, did a man present her with flowers backstage and confess his feelings.
Just as Chu Yue smiled and reached for the bouquet, a powerful grip clamped around her arm.
As he had years ago, he pinned her against the wall, his wrist trembling faintly.
Chu Yue looked at him calmly. "Young Master Qi, wasn't getting burned by me once enough?"
Qi Siyu paid no mind to the people around them, nor to her mockery. He only looked at her intently and asked in a low, hoarse voice:
"Have you been happy all these years without me?"
