The Tough Boxer and the Delicate Beauty

“Gu Wang, 193 centimeters tall, international professional boxing champion...”

Yan Shiyu read aloud from the file on his next business partner.

A friend came over, mistook Gu Wang for Yan Shiyu’s ideal boyfriend, and cried out in alarm, “Oh no, someone like Gu Wang is all wrong for you!”

Yan Shiyu was baffled and curious, and asked with a helpless laugh, “Why?”

His friend looked gravely at Yan Shiyu, then at Gu Wang in the boxing ring.

Why? His friend silently thought. Given the difference in your builds, you’d get fucked to death in bed!

Later, at the celebration banquet for a world-class championship, reporters huddled together, talking about how cold and taciturn the guest of honor was, and how hard he was to approach. They couldn’t help expressing their sympathy for Yan Shiyu, who was working with him.

Meanwhile, backstage at the banquet, the staff couldn’t find Gu Wang anywhere.

Outside the lounge, hurried footsteps and voices echoed as people searched for him.

Inside the dim lounge, Yan Shiyu was held captive in the arms of a tall, solid figure. His fingers pushed against the other man’s pectorals as he complained in a plaintive voice that it hurt.

The other man lowered his head to kiss him as if to placate him, his voice low and hoarse. “Baby, when are you going to let me be your boyfriend...”

Later still, Yan Shiyu’s eyes were red at the corners as he whimpered and trembled.

At last, he understood what his friend had left unsaid back then.
