The First Class of Elites

In the near future, a sudden phenomenon of brain evolution gives some teenagers special abilities based on brain waves and mental power: potential. As a new direction for human evolution, potential is being developed and researched around the world, and those who possess it, the "Elites," are being educated and trained.

Yin Muchao is a genius who awakened his potential on his own at the age of eleven. After graduating from high school, he was naturally accepted into a specialized Elite academy. Mindong Academy is one of the ten Elite schools in the Minjiang Special Zone and a member of the "Ten-School Alliance." Yin Muchao will spend four years here with the other five students in Class One, aiming to become the brightest star of Mindong Academy and Minjiang alike.

Yin Muchao: "Gu Shiyu, is she our Class One teacher?"

Gu Shiyu: "Get ready to face challenges from the other classes. Let's show the whole school whether you're worthy of the name Class One."

I'm a brand-new aspiring humorist and writer. I want to create a classic, passionate story of group battles and strategic mind games, told through an ensemble cast. Just like Yin Muchao when he first entered school, I'm still figuring everything out, and I hope to meet readers along the way and complete this story together.

The inspiration came from the ten high schools in the city where I live, Chengdu. Of course, for the needs of the story, I adapted them into universities. I'll list the names of the ten universities here for everyone to see. Sharp-eyed readers should be able to recognize the real-life inspirations at a glance, though the districts don't follow the real-world layout, so not every school has a direct counterpart. Of course, not knowing this reference won't affect your reading experience at all.
