The Famous Gourmet of a Chaotic Age

Ming Xiang transmigrated into an ancient era of warfare, where rebel armies roamed and rival powers fought for supremacy. She had to travel with them the whole way, never eating or sleeping well.

One day, she was unlucky enough to be captured, but ended up recognizing the strategist from the opposing side as her father.

Zhao Xuan had transmigrated too.

That night, he made Ming Xiang a hearty braised pork dish to go with her rice. After eating it, Ming Xiang recognized him as her dad on the spot.

Zhao Xuan: ...Why don't you stay?

Ming Xiang: No. I still need to repay you for saving my life.

In a chaotic age, the situation changed in an instant. One day, Ming Xiang woke up to discover that their two factions had become connected through marriage.

Once the two powerful factions joined forces, Ming Xiang's life improved. She began recording (complaining about) every dish she ate in this era. The entries she wrote in one sitting all said the same thing: not a single dish was any good, and every page was full of resentment.

Eventually, she wrote so much that she became a renowned food critic.

Before long, people began saying that Ming Xiang had chosen Zhao Xuan as her husband simply because he was such a good cook.

Zhao Xuan: Is that so?

Ming Xiang: Daddy!

Zhao Xuan: … (He doesn't understand this strange word, but he still blushes.jpg)

Chuunibyou cutie × Robot-like daddy

Premise: No matter how hard life gets, live it well
