The main story is complete. I’d be grateful if anyone who has read it could leave a rating. And please take a look at my upcoming book, "The Acting Showcase of the Deposed Crown Prince and His Wife". The blurb is below. Please add it to your library.
(A gentle, frail-looking but decisive palace strategist VS a seemingly aloof and indifferent prince who is, in truth, kindhearted and concerned for the world)
Ren Zhiyi, the clever and exceptionally perceptive daughter of a minor official in Lingzhou on the frontier, travels to the capital to save her father. By accident, she becomes embroiled in an imperial examination fraud case and serves as a sharp blade for Crown Prince Wei Shu to purge the court.
She becomes an advisor to the Eastern Palace for a term of one year.
In just a few months, she and the Crown Prince work in perfect harmony. Together, they unravel several sinister plots and mysterious cases, turning the political landscape upside down.
After saving her father, Ren Zhiyi counts down the days even as she plans to fulfill two unachieved wishes.
First, drive out the Yun Kingdom and protect Lingzhou’s peace.
Second, leave the palace, travel across the land, and trade for thousands of miles.
She once felt fortunate to have met a wise ruler. The Crown Prince cared for the world and was a man of great character, so surely he would help her fulfill her wishes.
But she never expected that neither wish would come true.
Crown Prince Wei Shu is calm, intelligent, and adept at planning. In his heart, the realm comes first, and love comes second.
But then he accidentally hears Ren Zhiyi tell someone:
“The Crown Prince cares only for what is right. He would make a wise ruler, but he is not the one destined for me.”
For the first time in his life, he becomes obsessed.
If he is not the one destined for her, then he will force the matter and demand a match made in heaven.
Reader’s Guide:
1. The early story has plenty of political scheming and mystery-solving. The plot-to-romance ratio is roughly 7:3 at first, and 5:5 later.
2. Both leads are strong. The male lead has a brief period of groveling.
3. The ending is guaranteed to be happy.
---Below is the upcoming book *The Acting Showcase of the Deposed Crown Prince and His Wife*---
(Marriage first, love later / Two strong leads)
(A loyal, promise-keeping, highly skilled and straightforward young woman VS an ambitious, scheming, theatrically deposed crown prince)
Jiang Xian wakes up one morning with no martial arts skills and memories that stop a year ago.
Something must have happened during that year. She hid her sword and changed into women’s clothes, becoming the nominal Crown Princess of Dugu Zhi, the deposed crown prince of the Great Liang dynasty.
Dugu Zhi has a vicious temperament and a terrible reputation, but he treats her very well. He protects her at every turn and teaches her how to survive in the palace. Jiang Xian gradually learns what lies behind his reckless behavior.
Later, Jiang Xian regains her martial arts skills and initially plans to escape the palace. But after much hesitation, she decides to stay and protect him.
The two spend every day together, and their affection grows deeper.
Until a rebellion breaks out...
Jiang Xian witnesses Dugu Zhi risk his life to save the woman he once loved from a barrage of arrows amid the rebel forces.
She goes to demand the truth, but he has her placed under house arrest instead.
At that very moment, Jiang Xian regains her memories and recalls that their marriage was only a matter of mutual convenience. Everything that came before had been an act.
Jiang Xian hesitates no longer. With three strikes of her sword, she breaks through the palace gates and rides away.
At a palace banquet, Dugu Zhi spots Jiang Xian at once. A discarded daughter from a fallen noble house, blunt and dull-witted, with little cunning: she is the perfect choice for a political marriage.
To keep Jiang Xian by his side, he gives her more and more tenderness and favor. He thinks he is keeping a clear head, unaware that he has entered the game himself and will soon be lost in it.
When he sees Jiang Xian injured with his own eyes, he experiences the terror of losing control for the first time in his life. He bares the claws he has hidden for years and bathes the court in blood.
Before leaving the palace, Jiang Xian leaves letters for everyone, except him.
Dugu Zhi runs his fingers over the letters and murmurs:
A Xian, now that I have glimpsed the light of day, how could I return to the darkness?
Reader’s Guide:
1. The male lead has no former love. There is a reason he saves her, which will be explained in the story.
2. The heroine is a formidable fighter. She conceals her secret identity early on, then reveals her strength and vanquishes her enemies halfway through.
Theme: Love means helping each other achieve fulfillment.
The plot is very exciting, I think you can try to change the copywriting. The copywriting is more emotional, but in fact the plot is very exciting, and the plot should be the main recommendation.
Will the hero still be the emperor?
So this is the second and fifth son who came to Prince Yin under the command of Jing Xiang?
The beginning is good, the pace is tight and suspenseful, the heroine is witty and decisive, I love it!
Good article, great. This is the kind of thing that should be recommended on the homepage. I have to say that it was only fate that I was able to read it.
In this chapter, Han Shaochu doesn't look like a smart person, and it feels like he is foolhardy to reveal his identity, huh~
[Purple Sugar] kswl [Orange Sugar] looks so good when you try it!!! The plot and emotions are all well arranged!!! I like articles like this the most. I really want to read the extras (ˊo̴̶̷̤̫o̴̶̷̤ˋ). It's a bit of a group portrait. It's so exciting. In addition to the protagonist, the other supporting characters also have story lines.
This is the first book that I have written so well. From the sentences, you can only see the author's great writing skills. This is one of the few excellent ancient texts that I have read!!! The plot and emotions are well written. I really like it. It would be even better if there were extras!! 🥹 "The jade is in the coffin for a good price, and the hairpin is in the coffin to wait for it to fly." Good articles are worth waiting for and being discovered ๑⃙⃘´༥`๑⃙⃘ Keep up the good work
Overall, I still encourage the author. I hope the next one will be better ❤️
This book is so well written, it's really a hidden gem in the ocean.
