Jiang Fuhuo dies and gets bound to a System.
"You mean your name is 'I Give the Phoenix-Protagonist a Halo'?"
[That's right, Host. During each mission, you'll play Benefactor A, B, or C on the Phoenix-Protagonist's path to ascension, clear her obstacles, and help her ascend. =w=]
Jiang Fuhuo takes a look at the generous mission rewards.
She's in!
Her first role is the aloof master who guides the Phoenix-Protagonist into the immortal sect. She pretends to care for her, but only raises her for her innate sword bone. In the end, the Phoenix-Protagonist kills her, leaving behind a huge experience bundle.
The thing is, while carrying out the mission, Jiang Fuhuo takes pity on the Phoenix-Protagonist's childhood sweetheart and accepts her into the sect too. So the mission keeps going off track. At last, the master mission ends, and Jiang Fuhuo successfully fakes her death. But then the Phoenix-Protagonist calls her childhood sweetheart a two-faced green tea and falls out with her?
Her second role is the frail Holy Maiden of the Star-Gazing Pavilion. She is supposed to fall in love with the Phoenix-Protagonist at first sight, making her nemesis take an interest in the Phoenix-Protagonist. But her nemesis, the bewitching and sinister High Priestess, keeps her gaze fixed on Jiang Fuhuo instead.
Then Jiang Fuhuo discovers something terrifying.
The Phoenix-Protagonist's green-tea childhood sweetheart clutches the hem of her robes, tears glistening in her eyes. "Master, you painstakingly plotted everything for the Phoenix-Protagonist, making me suffer the pain of losing you. Is there not even the slightest place for me in your heart?"
Her nemesis goes half-mad after Jiang Fuhuo fakes her death. "Fuhuo, I should have hooked your soul thread, so your gaze would fall on me for all eternity."
Even the Phoenix-Protagonist finally sees through her secret identity. "Master, you painstakingly plotted everything for me. Was someone important to me in my previous life? What about in this life?"
Jiang Fuhuo is surrounded on all sides.
Enough! This is really enough!
She's just doing a mission!
P.S. Multiple fragments, switches between top and bottom. I can only think of three secret identities for now; I'll work out the rest later.
As usual, it's dark, twisted love-and-hate literature. Fuhuo is everyone's favorite.
Fuhuo usually takes the bottom role, but with certain fragments she'll take the top a little.
Theme: Stay true to your goal.
