Shi Su is the youngest director in the history of the Special Ability Administration, and the only king to rise to power by stepping over the corpse of his predecessor. Wherever his ability reaches, even the gods fall silent.
On top of that, he is cool and refined, as noble as a handful of snow atop a mountain, too sacred to profane.
Rumor has it that he has four rumored girlfriends: the seductive, gorgeous leader of a special ability organization; a strategist with a mind like a fox; the spoiled, willful niece of a political heavyweight; and a gentle, kind-hearted colleague who works as a doctor.
Everyone wonders which one of them will end up marrying him.
Then one day, he rescued a canary in the desert.
The canary was breathtakingly beautiful, captivating anyone who looked at her. But she had nothing going for her besides her looks, a little plaything who needed to be carried whenever she went out.
People looked down on her, but they all wanted to possess her.

The Special Ability Administration has an unspoken curse: every director meets a terrible end. Shi Su personally cut down the previous director, his own mentor, and now it seemed the curse had caught up with him too.
During a rescue mission in a restricted zone, Shi Su and his special operations team disappeared deep in a desperate situation, never to be heard from again.
People divided up his power and money, as well as the little bird he’d kept at home.
They cornered the canary in the Shi family villa and even started a livestream.
On camera, the astonishingly beautiful yet helpless canary looked frightened and tearful. She slowly raised an arm as pale as a lotus root and gently pointed at the men in front of her.
The men exploded.
Literally, every single one of them exploded!
The viewers watching outside the camera frame exploded too!
Why would an expert who could kill special ability users of the same rank in an instant pretend to be a canary?

Zhuo Zhiyu’s ability is Marking. As long as she makes eye contact with someone for three seconds, she can mark any soul in the world and make them obey her, willing to do anything she asks.
Except for Shi Su, who has the ability to Devour.
She secretly tried several times, but each attempt failed.
Until one day, the king of special ability users lowered his proud head and willingly offered her his soul.
Male lead: cool and refined (x), dark, unhinged loyal dog (check)
Female lead: delicate and soft (x), a grim reaper who blows up whatever she points at (check)
P.S.
1. The male lead has no relationship with the other women. He only deals with them for his own benefit. He’s a top-tier gentleman who even wears gloves to shake hands when he goes out.
2. The male lead isn’t dead, he only faked his death.
Theme: Respect injustice, respect resistance
