The Detective Prince of the Armed Detective Agency

Akechi Goro's days were ordinary and full.

Six in the morning: Wake up and spend an hour on his appearance. Ride his bicycle to school, or get up half an hour earlier if he is on duty.

Seven thirty in the morning: Attend the student council's morning meeting as the head of the discipline committee, then return to class.

Twelve noon: Eat alone in the student cafeteria, usually ordering a small portion of low-calorie food.

Four in the afternoon: Finish his student council duties, say goodbye to the other members, and report to the detective agency where he works part-time.

Four thirty in the afternoon: Go on a case with his senior at the agency, leading the senior, who can't ride the train alone, onto one bound for the case location.

Five in the afternoon: Visit a famous dessert shop with his senior, take photos for a review, edit them, and prop his chin in his hands as he watches his senior finish a whole table of sweets.

Six in the evening: See his senior back to the agency, then, if time allows, swallow his reluctance and take a cab to the TV station.

Six thirty in the evening: Barely make it in time for filming, appear as a guest on a talk show, and display a perfect smile before the live audience and cameras.

Eleven at night: Take the last train home. To keep his figure, eat an apple while editing and uploading a post about the dessert shop to his Twitter account, then schedule it to publish.

Midnight: After showering, put on a face mask and use an alt account to search for mentions of himself on social media with alarming intensity.

One in the morning: As part of his bedtime routine, curse the bald, middle-aged politician who appeared in the news.

Such an ordinary life was disrupted by the arrival of a junior who transferred schools after getting into trouble.

The black-haired guy with hair like a bird's nest, tacky glasses, no fashion sense, and a habit of showing up in front of him: "Hello, senpai."

Akechi: Smiles.

Tch. What an eyesore.
