The Harbor That Never Sleeps

The Shen family of Hong Kong City is an elite, top-tier clan.

Shen Yourong, the heir, heads to the mainland to expand the family's business. As word gets around, people from all sides spring into action, going to great lengths to send him gifts and introduce people to him.

A friend teases him, suggesting he find someone to keep by his side, so he has an excuse to fend them off.

Shen Yourong is nonchalant and makes no comment.

Amid the clinking of glasses, he vaguely remembers someone.

A swindler who used the very same excuse to take everything from him.

Four years ago, no one would have connected Li Yang and Shen Yourong.

One was an orphan living under someone else's roof, whose sight had yet to recover.

The other was a pampered, privileged son of heaven, high above everyone else.

Li Yang thought Shen Yourong was only briefly interested in her, driven by a desire for something new.

So when she asked to break up, she thought he wouldn't even furrow his brow.

As it turned out, she was wrong.

When he grabbed her ankle and dragged her back, Li Yang had just one thought:

She shouldn't have gotten involved with him.

After they reunite, Li Yang sticks to the belief that "a proper ex should disappear without a trace."

But the more deliberately she avoids him, the more she crosses paths with Shen Yourong.

He becomes the production's biggest investor, and she becomes the spokesperson for his company.

Then, on the day of the wrap party, Li Yang gets drunk and walks into the wrong room.

After one reckless night, she sees the empty bed beside her and gets the urge to run.

She opens the door

Shen Yourong stands by the window, wearing a bathrobe with its collar hanging open.

The mottled scratch marks on his back are all her handiwork from last night.

He seems to see right through her intentions. He puts out his cigarette and gives her a dangerous look.

"Li Yang, there's no such thing as a free lunch."

"Especially when it's a feast."
