Husband and Wife, Returning Home Together

The floodwaters raged. Gun stole the Emperor's self-growing soil to hold back the flood without waiting for the Emperor's command. The Emperor ordered Zhurong to kill Gun at the outskirts of Yu. Gun gave birth to Yu. The Emperor then ordered Yu to finish distributing the soil and bring the Nine Provinces under control.

It is said that wherever the self-growing soil arrives, abundance follows.

In the sixteenth year of the Da Qi era, demons were everywhere, and murders were happening one after another.

A heavenly divination declared that the Crown Princess was ill-omened and had caused the demons to appear. The sage must kill her as an example to the people.

When Ming Zhao woke, there was a sentence written on her body.

"Never return to Hedong Commandery."

She had wandered for three years because of those words, but a life without memories of the past or any idea of where the future might lead was simply too dull.

She decided to return to Hedong Commandery, the capital of Da Qi.

But she couldn't go alone. It felt dangerous, and as luck would have it, she met a clever, idle young man with a silver tongue along the way. She decided that if she was going to die, she might as well drag someone down with her.

The clever young man, Pei You: Me? You mean me?

[PS: I plan to write several demon-catching and case-solving stories as writing practice. Updates every night at nine. Sending love!]
