Yan Shuang is a devoted fan of city-building and farming games. Every few days, she browses the game store for fun new titles in the genre.
One day, she really does find a game called Territory.
The game has excellent art, beautifully detailed character models, and exceptionally high-quality content. Yan Shuang can't stop exclaiming that she's found her perfect game, and soon becomes completely absorbed in it.
She starts from nothing, developing a small patch of land.
She takes in residents, mines ore and smelts iron, plants crops and stores grain, and makes weapons and all kinds of everyday goods.
She survives natural disasters and beast tides, gradually upgrading her settlement into a village, then a tribe, and finally a vast territory rich in resources.
Yan Shuang thinks that's where the game ends.
But one day, the System announces an update: the new version, Battle for Territory, is now live.
She closes her eyes, opens them, and finds herself in a place both strange and familiar. The person beside her is thrilled. "Lord! The new version, Battle for Territory, is live! Let's seize the surrounding territories in one fell swoop!!"
Yan Shuang: "...?"
Huh? What? Wait a second?
What's going on here??
