Kashima Gen is a ghost drifting between the cracks of the world. He longs to be human, so from time to time he makes deals with certain worlds, helping worlds in crisis maintain order.
One day, he receives requests from two worlds at once. One is on the brink of collapse under the threat of terrifying cursed spirits and needs his help.
The crisis of demons in the other world has already been resolved, but that world still wants its warriors' heroic deeds to be passed down.

Gladly accepting both requests, he takes on the warriors' secret identities and descends into the world of jujutsu, beginning to write a new legend of humanity.
Then one day, a group of strange people wearing haori of different colors suddenly appears in the jujutsu world. They claim to be from the Demon Slayer Corps, call cursed spirits demons, and use the Nichirin blades in their hands to exorcise cursed spirits, fighting on the front lines against curses.
