I'll end this book here. The first two volumes were rather immature, so I won't be adding any more. I'll start a new book for any new short stories.
[Volume One]
Is there someone you love but can't have?
Do you long for a love that lasts until the seas run dry and the rocks crumble?
Tie this red cord, soaked in 999 people's true feelings, around his wrist, and he'll be yours.
Seller's clarification: The person dating you isn't the red cord itself! How could a red cord possibly date anyone?
Jiang Yucheng, who was in love with his senior but couldn't have him, got a red cord from an online friend. It was said to bind people's fates together.
Skeptical but willing to give it a try, he tied the cord around his senior's wrist.
In his dream, gongs and drums thundered as the master of ceremonies proclaimed:
"Together in life and death, for all eternity!"
[Volume Two]
Every year during the Ghost Festival, Liang Wenzhao found an excuse to avoid the ancestral rites.
This year, his grandfather was gravely ill, and he had no choice but to return to the old house halfway up the mountain.
As he started up the neglected mountain path, rustle, rustle...
The faint patter of footsteps spread through the grass.
Rustle, rustle...
Fragmented whispers were carried away by the wind.
"He's back, he's back..."
A beautiful young man bent down to take his luggage, his voice low and hoarse. "Long time no see."
It won't be very scary! The gong leads are all ghosts, and their behavior and logic are different from humans'.
Theme: Take care to protect your life and property
The plot of the first volume was very good, but this chapter ended so quickly and it felt a bit abrupt. It would be better if the author could make it longer.
