The Top-Tier Star Insists on Marrying Me

Fruit TV's biggest parenting variety show is about to air. This time, it has invited the King of Songs Yu Wuxi, who never appears on variety shows, to join as a temporary dad.

The little girl paired with him is only five. She's adorable, with bright eyes and delicate features, and even looks a little like him.

"Uncle, you're so handsome."

The soft, sweet little girl giggles. "My dad says handsome men are liars."

Yu Wuxi breaks into a cold sweat as he holds the child and looks at her father, hiding behind the staff.

"Compared to me, your dad looks more like the liar, doesn't he?"

The longer filming goes on, the more familiar Wen Hangzhi seems to Yu Wuxi.

He knows all of Yu Wuxi's likes, what he's allergic to, even which side of the bed he likes to sleep on.

"Wen Hangzhi, tell me. Did we know each other before?"

"...Mr. Yu, you're a big star. How could we possibly know each other?"

*

Everyone knows that Yu Wuxi was kidnapped before he graduated from college.

But only Wen Hangzhi knows that Yu Wuxi lost his memory for a while after he was kidnapped.

Back then, he wasn't Yu Wuxi. He was Wen Hangzhi's "silly boy" and Nuannuan's "father."

Those were the happiest days of Wen Hangzhi's life.

Until Yu Wuxi regained his memories, and everything in the past could no longer be hidden.

"Why are you pushing me away? Didn't you want money? Who was it that left me for money back then?"

"I took the money, so I had to keep my promise..."

"Keep your promise? For that lousy promise, you'd rather care about other people than even look at me?"

"You're the best of friends with all of them. What about me? Have you ever thought of me, even once, all these years?!"

Wen Hangzhi breaks down in tears. "It's my fault. It's all my fault. Please, don't take Nuannuan away..."

But the man only lifts his chin, a frightening fire flickering in his eyes.

"Fine. If you don't want to leave, then there's only one way."

"What?! I'll do anything!"

"Marry me. You'll spend the rest of your life making up for what I lost."

A few notes:

1. It's basically a story about how no matter how many times I lose my memory, I'll always fall in love with you.

2. The bottom was once in prison, framed and sent there. Please take note if that's a dealbreaker.

3. A cold, aloof beauty top x a carefree little punk bottom.

4. They reunite on a variety show right from the start, with flashbacks woven in. The blurb is from the top's perspective, while the main story is from the bottom's.

Theme: Even if you've once walked through the abyss, as long as you keep the light in your heart, you can overcome the darkness.
