The famous wandering swordswoman Shi Liuhui loves flowers, wine, and beauties. Of course, that last part is only hearsay and has never been confirmed. But people assume that someone like Shi Liuhui ought to have a beauty by her side, because that's what they imagine a renowned hero should be like.
Song Zaixue, also known as Madam Song, the fiery-tempered owner of the Dragon Gate Inn, never gives anyone special treatment. She is Shi Liuhui's closest friend, and the only person before whom she ever acts tender and gentle.
Shi Liuhui had never really thought about whether she would marry someday. She was a wandering swordswoman, drifting from place to place with the whole world as her home. The only place she always returned to was the Dragon Gate Inn, owned by her closest friend.
As Shi Liuhui put it, it had flowers, wine, and beauties (struck through), so of course it was the best place. Song Zaixue didn't mind her friend staying there, either.
They were meant to be lifelong friends, watching flowers and drinking wine together. Perhaps they could even go see the desert sands, the Tianshan snow, and the Jiangnan rain together.
That is, if not for the accident.
Shi Liuhui didn't blame Song Zaixue. There had been no other choice at the time, but she needed to calm down and think carefully about what the future of her relationship with Madam Song should be.
Reading guide:
1. The pursued is a slow-to-realize type. Shi is the pursued, Song is the pursuer.
2. Mostly sweet, with just a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of angst, really (earnestly).
3. Both are each other's only one, one-on-one.
4. Probably more plot-focused.
5. Set in a fictional world, with a purely jianghu setting and no imperial court. (There is no imperial court in this timeline, though an ancient dynasty will be mentioned.)
6. No secondary male-male couple.
Theme: In the vast jianghu, righteousness comes first
"Song Zaixue just held it and put it on her mouth..." This is a big bug for the author~
Not bad, please update 🐰
