A story about Yanqing in a Touken Ranbu crossover.
I'm making major revisions and have locked the chapters that were originally posted. I'll put them back up after I'm done.
After the battle at the Xianzhou Luofu, Yanqing, covered in wounds, inexplicably fell onto an unfamiliar battlefield.
After helping his newly met companions get rid of the so-called "master" who had tormented them, Yanqing sorted things out and settled on three goals:
1. Heal every corrupted sword in this citadel.
2. Take the chance to borrow a space-time device in exchange for the first goal, so it will be easier to find his way back to the Xianzhou.
3. Recover and practice his swordsmanship, so he can attend the Wardance in peak condition and defend his title.
Yep, perfect.

They had thought they would never be able to escape.
Day after day, their wounds worsened. If they did not shatter today, they would shatter tomorrow.
Corruption spread through the citadel, and their master found pleasure in tormenting them, using their repeated pleas to flaunt his power.
Then a sword, swift as lightning and a shooting star, struck at that man with unstoppable force, its icy light blazing.
When the radiance faded, the flying sword returned to its sheath by itself. The youth held their gravely wounded companion in his arms and swept a cold gaze over the surroundings. "He got away."
Grateful for his kindness, they acknowledged him as their master, even though he had never agreed to it.
The master they had chosen was quite unusual:
1.
"Master, leave the sortie to us..."
"You're still injured, aren't you? I'm all better now." He proudly patted his chest.
2.
"Master, your injuries haven't healed yet. Having us take turns fighting you now would be..."
"It's fine. I'll just stand still."
Then six flying swords darted around, clearing the entire field.
3.
"Master! Why did you spend so many coins all at once?!"
"Oh, you kept saying your throat was dry while on standby, so I bought a tea-party courtyard scene. Are you happy?"
"...I just wanted you to pay attention to me."
"Huh?"
He was strange, but warm all the same.
"I'm still more used to using my own sword."
When will you finally agree to truly become our master?
The youth lay on the rooftop, humming as the breeze blew over him. He idly counted the clouds, then suddenly seemed to remember something and sat up with a jolt, taking out the broken sword he never let out of his sight.
"I have to get back soon."
