Young Master Wonton

Yuan Shier couldn't help saying, “I want you to take me as your apprentice! Teach me magic!” “Why would I take a little burden like you as my apprentice? Traveling the world alone, free and easy, is much better.” “I can cook, do laundry, and even help you make money!” Yuan Shier rushed in front of Yuntun and protested. “I won't be a burden!” “But you only have a mortal lifespan. Even if you cultivate, you can't live forever. Just look at the Lord of Jiyun City. I won't defy fate and change yours!” Yuntun said with a meaningful smile. Yuan Shier was quite resolute. “Then I'll just die of old age. I don't want to live forever, anyway.” “Are you sure? You don't want eternal life?” Yuntun asked. Yuan Shier said, “If I can't bear to die when the time comes, you can just kill me. You don't need to pity me!” At that, Yuntun nearly burst out laughing. “What a little rascal. If I really take you as my apprentice, how could I bear to kill you?” PS: 1. The protagonist never ages and cannot die. 2. The protagonist has no love interest, but someone will have a one-sided crush on him. [I'm posting an old manuscript here. I originally planned to use it to apply for an in-office screenwriting job, but it seems I was tricked into submitting my work. The original document was last edited in 2020.] Theme: Upright, ambitious, optimistic, and cheerful
