The year after she transmigrated, Meng Wu married the scholar next door. His name was Wen Yu. He treated her with the utmost care, and at night he was as insatiable as a wolf.
Their days were sweet and intimate, if a little embarrassing.
But when Wen Yu left home for work, strange things started happening around her. For instance, the white goose guarding the gate would lift a leg and curse at the sky. And the red fox that roamed freely would wash dishes in the kitchen.
Terrified, Meng Wu fled the village in the middle of the night, losing one of her embroidered shoes along the way. In her panic, she stumbled into a familiar, solid embrace.
“Wu,” Wen Yu said, gently patting her back. His low voice soothed her.
She pouted in grievance, ready to complain to her husband, but froze when she looked up.
When had the frail boy, once merely handsome, grown so strikingly beautiful that he seemed almost bewitching?
Just as Meng Wu had accepted that this was a world of cultivation, she transmigrated again.
Cold and hungry, she was lucky enough to encounter disciples from an immortal sect. Their leader was none other than Wen Yu, though his features looked a little younger than she remembered.
Too excited to worry about the details, she leaned forward. “Husband!”
The group stared at her in surprise, then exchanged glances and looked to the young man, waiting for his response. But Wen Yu's eyes were utterly unfamiliar as he replied coolly, “I don't know you.”
“?”
She was divorcing him.
Later, Meng Wu found herself surrounded by a sect's most talented disciple, the young master of the fox clan, and an up-and-coming heir from a prominent family. After sitting on the sidelines long enough, Wen Yu sneaked into her room in the middle of the night. “My wife, I've been bewitched.”
“G-get dressed!” Meng Wu blushed with embarrassment. “Besides, how could a mere enchantment affect the mighty Demon Venerable?”
When seduction failed, Wen Yu leaned in and pinned her in place.
“But when it comes to what a married couple does...”
“Don't you often find yourself thinking back on it, Wu?”

Coming soon: "I Lost My Memory After Winning Over the Dragon-Blooded Protagonist"
◆ Spoiled Young Lady x Fake Gentleman, Real Yandere Devoted Hound
Mu Yao transmigrated into a book as a doomed side character. To make matters worse, her memories were incomplete, and she'd even forgotten the Dragon-Blooded Protagonist's name.
Still, doing a good deed every day was a safe bet.
After so many poor boys she'd rescued filled her estate to capacity, yet no one came knocking to cause trouble, Mu Yao took the best-looking and most useful one with her and left home to study without a care.

Jing Xu took care of her daily needs and, when necessary, fulfilled her wishes.
She longed to experience scenes from the romance novels she read, so Jing Xu took her stargazing. When she saw other people being intimate, he bent down and helped her explore. When she grew curious about the male physique, Jing Xu began to take off...
But once they left the dormitory, the young lady ordered him to pretend they didn't know each other in public.
Unfortunately, they were both so striking that their relationship was soon exposed. The young man, fresh from his bath, turned to ask, “Is this troubling you, Miss?”
Her gaze followed the water droplets over his lean, muscular body. “Not really.”
“Good.” The young man smiled, satisfied.

One day, Mu Yao unexpectedly recovered her memories and learned that Jing Xu was the male lead of the book, and that they had known each other long before.
Her friend rushed over with the latest gossip. “Word is, a woman toyed with Jing Xu and then dumped him. He wants revenge, so he actually infiltrated her household.”
After settling her accounts, she fled that very night.
But the next morning, she woke up in Jing Xu's arms.
His voice caught with emotion. “We've known each other all this time. I do your laundry, cook your meals, and even spare you the effort in bed. Are you going to believe him or me?”
Tightly bound, Mu Yao said, “You...”
“That's what I thought.” Jing Xu lowered his head and rested it on her shoulder. His gaze, however, was sinister as he glared at the person who'd lured her away, silently mouthing: Get lost.
Theme: Fear nothing, retreat from nothing, lose to no one.
After reading it, I don't quite understand it. Can someone help explain why A Wu has to go back to the past? How did they get to know each other? It feels like a cycle. The first time they met in Pingle Village was when A Wu told A Yu to wait for him a hundred years ago. But what about the actual first meeting?
If you want to be quick with yourself, it's best to be as hard-hearted and as stone-like towards others.
