Please add it to your collection!] To save up for his younger brother's medical bills, Li Xinyu takes a part-time job as an NPC in a horror escape room. He has to wear a little dress while working, and unexpectedly catches the attention of Gu Xingzhou, a senior from the year above. As fate would have it, Gu Xingzhou once caught him arriving late outside the school gate, though he didn't recognize him. Gu Xingzhou is a lovable fool with money to spare, and falls completely for him, thinking he's a "girl who dropped out of school." Moved by Gu Xingzhou's money, Li Xinyu holds hands with him and goes on dates. He successfully tricks Gu Xingzhou into paying for his younger brother's surgery. Li Xinyu feels guilty and plans to confess to Gu Xingzhou that he's actually a man, but Gu Xingzhou discovers the truth first. On the day they confront each other, Li Xinyu and Gu Xingzhou stand beneath a tree at school, while Li Xinyu keeps his head lowered, afraid to look at him. Gu Xingzhou looks devastated. "Why did you lie to me?" Li Xinyu grits his teeth. "I'm sorry. I really needed the money." Gu Xingzhou nods, furious. "Do you still need it now?" "No..." His younger brother's surgery is already done. Li Xinyu means to earn money as quickly as possible and pay back everything he tricked Gu Xingzhou out of, but he never gets the chance. Unable to handle the shock, Gu Xingzhou transfers to another school. They don't see each other again for ten whole years. -- Ten years later, Li Xinyu unexpectedly reunites with Gu Xingzhou, who has become his boss. He's always frowning, never smiles, and is as cold as ice. Li Xinyu can't help asking around about Gu Xingzhou's life now. "I heard President Gu is still single at his age because his first love deceived him in high school, and now he doesn't believe in love at all." "President Gu also said that if he ever ran into that liar again, he'd beat him up." "President Gu works out and practices boxing every day now. Getting hit by him must really hurt." The more Li Xinyu hears, the more frightened he gets. He decides to avoid Gu Xingzhou from now on and never let him get a good look at him, but somehow this only makes Gu Xingzhou angrier. One day, Gu Xingzhou summons Li Xinyu to his office. Li Xinyu nervously brings his bank card, determined to sincerely apologize to Gu Xingzhou and pay back all the money he took from him back then. But Gu Xingzhou is unexpectedly kind to him. "Because of you, I can't date anyone now, so you should take responsibility." Li Xinyu nods furiously. "Of course, of course." The next moment, Gu Xingzhou takes out a dress. "So first, put this dress on and let me see." Li Xinyu: "?!" Theme: Transmigrate through adversity.
