She likes SpongeBob, but she's never said so. One person's love is still love. Later, she realizes that a peaceful life is the happiest thing of all.
A warm, cozy daily-life story. The first few chapters have a bit of the original animation's comedic style. (No angst; the author can't handle hardship at all. There may be a little heartache later, but you can think of it as romantic spice... maybe? The romance isn't prominent; there's more everyday life.)
SpongeBob likes making new friends.

The protagonist isn't human. She's really a squishy toy, the soft, stretchy kind that looks like gummy candy and can be bought online. Of course, Eggfruit Girl is the beautiful and adorable kind. It's two-dimensional, after all.
Part of the inspiration came from the theme song "Moonlight" from The Legend of Qin. On a whim, I wanted to give SpongeBob a gift called "love." I hope you enjoy it. (Let's cheer for Hu Yanbin!)
Theme: Love is a matter of fate; love forced upon someone is not beautiful. Companionship is the longest-lasting declaration of love. Mutual love is rare, though, so if even one person falls in love, that's already a wonderful thing.
After seeing you for a long time, I know that as long as I stay in Jinjiang long enough, I can see any male protagonist. There is Tom Cat at a certain point and SpongeBob SquarePants in Jinjiang. Hahahaha
