Mashle: Magic and Muscles: Come On, My Brother Is Obviously the Best in the World

You are an utterly ordinary person.

Your family background is unremarkable, your talent for magic is nothing special, and your personality is as bland as water. Your face is made up of nothing but simple lines.

You are so very, very ordinary, almost not worth mentioning. The only remarkable thing in your otherwise unremarkable life might be your outstanding older brother.

Your parents' long absences made you depend on your brother intensely. So whenever someone questioned your fervent affection for him, you would say, as if it were only natural:

"My brother is the best person in the whole world. What's wrong with me feeling this way?"

You thought you would go on living like this forever.

Until much, much later.

Long after your brother was no longer the only person by your side, after you slowly began to mend the rift with your parents, after you began to love someone.

At last, you wrote your own chapter in your ordinary life. From then on, your brother was no longer the only remarkable thing in it.

Lance Courant x You
