Summer Comes Again

A sweet, headstrong girl x a wild, ruthless mad dog

That summer, Yu Qixia lost everything. She came to Nan County and became a well-behaved student who squeezed onto the bus.

She never expected to meet a wild, untamable mad dog of a monster in Nan County.

Jin Xun's one rare act of kindness was helping her when she was being harassed.

In return, the girl "repaid his kindness" by moving into his house.

With a girl living under his roof, Jin Xun was irritable, ruthless, and cold. The most he ever said was, "Stay away from me."

The night she was really going to leave him, thunder roared and rain lashed outside the window.

Jin Xun scooped up Yu Qixia, soaked from head to toe, and pinched the side of her waist through her damp nightdress.

His hand moved to her waist.

Yu Qixia shuddered, but still bit her lip and said nothing.

Jin Xun narrowed his eyes. "Yu Qixia, you're pretty tough. Still not going to say a word?"

"Is it really so hard to take back those words, 'I don't like you'?"

Summer ended in Nan County, and summer began in Chengyu. Life was peaceful and easygoing. Yu Qixia laughed and chatted with the people around her, then walked through a small alley after saying goodbye.

At the end of the alley stood that man, Jin Xun.

He pinched out his cigarette with his long, slender fingers. Seeing Yu Qixia's startled expression, he spoke with an air of arrogance.

"Forgot about me so soon?"

He saw Yu Qixia instinctively rub the side of her waist.

Jin Xun smirked. "Looks like your body hasn't forgotten."

[She hated that dark, turbulent time, and came to hate summer too. But after meeting Jin Xun, she began to hope that summer would come again.]
